Villa las Anclas

This was honestly one of the best rooms we stayed at during our travels through Mexico. I was so surprised to see that we have 2 floors with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs and a full kitchen and living room downstairs. It was very clean, comfortable and amazing location. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. There's a nice pool and a BBQ which you can use. Thanks so much for hosting us. See you again!

Beautiful and comfortable hotel so close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Incredibly welcoming and warm staff! I did have issues with the toilet and a loud noise that went all night my first night there. However, the staff were quick to fix it and were apologetic. They were knowledge and helpful too. Highly recommend! The room was clean, big and comfortable. The pool was cute too and I liked that it was a quiet hotel, it was usually free or only 1-2 people using it.

This gem of a boutique hotel is very well located, 2 streets from the ferry terminal and a short taxi ride away from the airport. You could go almost anywhere on foot, yet it was quiet in the hotel. The staff with special mention to the manager David Aguilar has been wonderful, helpful, kind and friendly. The little villa was clean, comfortable and had almost everything you need. I wish the aircon could be quieter though. We felt quite safe in the compound and the landscaping was charming. However we didn’t use the pool because the water was just too cold. Many restaurants nearby.

Amazing hotel at a great price. The guys at the front desk are super helpful, the rooms are spacious and confortable. And the location is ideal : 5 minutes from the port and 5 min from the beach. Plus, I met super nice people there.

Great place to stay and when we come back this is where we would stay. Hotel was clean and very accommodating, service was great, and the grounds are secure. They make you coffee in the morning at 7 and you can make your own coffee in your room (bring your own as it's not provided, but that means you get to enjoy the coffee of your choice). The AC was wonderful and the host was so nice - she let us chill in the lobby until we were ready to leave and she also let us store our luggage while we went out in our own adventures. This place is walkable to everything IMO.

Would definitely stay here again! Great hardworking staff, our room was cleaned so well, many thanks to the housekeepers, make sure to leave them tips they deserve it. Great location, walking distance to bars restaurants pier convenience stores everything. Felt safe here, (key fob to enter gate, fingerprint door lock for your suite). Art and handmade items adorn this property, it is well maintained. Beautiful flowering plants. Excellent coffee too, enjoy it until noon in the lobby. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I loved our brief stay at Hotel Villa Las Anclas. Some of the things we enjoyed about our stay... - The room was nice and clean. - The small kitchenette was perfect for a couple. - They provided a large jug of fresh drinking water. - The wifi worked well. - The AC was spectacular. - The shower water pressure and temp was nice. - There was a safe provided to keep valuables safe. - The pool was small, but perfect for afternoon dips. - The property had a gate which made us feel safe. - The doors were locked with fingerprints so there was no need to carry keys. - The location is in walking distance to ATMs, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, scooter rentals, and shopping (including a spot called Casa Cuzamil that shows US sports like football for those traveling during NFL season). - The staff communication was great leading up to and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable place to spend some time while checking out the beautiful island of Cozumel.

Wow - so glad I booked here for my first ever dive trip to Cozumel instead of a big hotel chain or resort. The next time I dive in Cozumel I will happily book here again! Rosy, Joshua, and all the staff that I encountered were super friendly, had clear and prompt communications via WhatsApp, and great recommendations for local restaurants. (I accidentally left some dive gear in my room after checkout and they very quickly grabbed it for me when I messaged! Thank you!) Big, roomy two-level units with tons of natural light, a gorgeously planted garden behind a locked security gate, a nice pool, and a little private terrace where I ate my breakfast each day. There is a dedicated washing and drying area for dive gear, which is really convenient. The location is fantastic - it's a stone's throw from a bunch of dive shops, and is easy walking distance from the ferry terminal, waterfront, and main tourist area, while feeling a bit more quiet and local. Note that if you have an early morning dive trip, there aren't a ton of options nearby for breakfast that are open before 8am, so I'd recommend picking up something the night before, or grabbing groceries from the Soriana Híper (a big Walmart-type store) which is a easy 10 min walk along the waterfront.
